new AC lines

John, so I finally got round to getting rid of the extention cord supplying a sectiopn of my stuff. Now I have 3 dedicated AC lines. Biggest noticable thing, when I turn on the amps, the lights don't blink. soundwise, .............nope. But now I don't trip over the orange ext cord. Less voltage drop by about 2 volts, by being on it's own, not on ckts loaded with other STUFF. Didn't effect teh sound at all.

Hi,

Im fairly new to the forums and have now worked out my system quite nicely, of course one of the problems is that it now highlights the poor quality recordings of a lot of my music.

In terms of heavy/prog rock, what would people suggets as the best ten CD's that will play on a standard CD player ?

The best two ive found so far are the 20 th anniversary Brothers in Arms and the digital Wish You Were Here

In some ways, building an inexpensive yet musical two-way loudspeaker is a greater design challenge than creating a cost-no-object reference product. Although the latter is a much more complex endeavor, the venerable two-way box seems to bring out the creativity and resources of the designer. Rather than throw money at the product in the form of more expensive drivers, enclosures, or components, the designer of a low-cost two-way is forced to go back to the basics, rethink closely-held tenets, and rely on ingenuity and sheer talent to squeeze the most music from a given cost. Consequently, the inexpensive two-way is the perfect vehicle for designers to develop their skills. If one has mastered this art form, one is much more likely to achieve success when more ambitious designs are attempted.
