Now come on, you gotta give these a try....would this be all nonsense? Hmmm, sit CLOSER to the speakers!!! Sit lower, and look out for that plastic stuff ...to think audio engineering soudn systems, pro setups, and they ignore all this science!!!!! http://www.mapleshaderecords.com/audioproducts/generalupgrades.php
I was wondering about this but is the Control 1Xtreme and the orginal Control 1 from pro basicaly the same speakers? I do see that they use same size woofers and tweeters but only difference is the tweeters and one is titanium laminate and one is polycarbonate. I did measure the woofers on the Control 1 and the Xtremes and they are exactly the same even the tweeters are the same. I don't know why JBL says they are 4in even they are 5in woofers.
I am bewildered. all the cable gurus tell me that THEY have the finast pieces of wires. Through THEIR research and hours and hours of development. Yet, this place is telling me, THEY have the answer, and it SMOKES (bad terminolgy for wiring devices) those well known high priced Shunyatatatatata, PS Audio (whoses DVD Charcoal to ColdTrain, is baaaaaaad, MF sounds like a lune, if he didn't spend $100K on a TT, he could own a house and not live in an appartment!!!
So i just bought a condo and already I'm getting complaints from neighbors that my music is too loud. I, of course, completely disagree with that, but to avoid fines I have to do something. So I've been looking into soundproofing options. I discovered a product (actually as an ad on this website) called Silent running (or Liquid Soundblocker) http://www.silentrunning.us/
Hey, guys. I'm shopping for a nice entry-level amplifier to drive my Paradigm 7se's. I'm considering the NAD C325BEE, Rega Brio3 and Rotel RA-1062. I'm on a tight budget (college student). My requirements are basic. I need a MM phono stage and would prefer a headphone jack (which the Rega lacks). If I got the NAD, I'd be purchasing it along with the PP-2 phono preamp. The C325BEE, PP-2 and a decent pair of interconnects for the PP-2 would run $550 plus tax.
