Shostakovich article

I'm trying to find a Shostakovich article that appeared in Stereophile between early 1992 and current (that range comprises my print-subscription collection). The article in question is NOT the article from Nov. 2006 (Shostakovich at 100) NOR is it the article from Jun. 1998 (Shostakovich's 10th Symph.). And it is not any of the articles found by either Stereophile's internal search engine or Google's within-site search.

I'm lost, I want to listen to my vinyl

Hey, my first post, so hi.

I haven't had a working turntable since 1989. It was a belt drive Technics, I don't recall what model, and it died a long time ago. I don't have a lot of vinyl, maybe 150 albums, but I'd like to listen to them again.

My current sound setup is not fancy; Infinity speakers, Onkyo amp and receiver, That's it. I could plug a phonograph into it if I had one. And that's why I'm here; I want to buy one.

Canare 61S- I found- but what about the RCAPOO3F

I bought a set of the 61S from Bluejeans cables- is there a RCAPOO3F? and if so is there a difference?

I compared these to my:
Better Cables silver serpents- a slight improvement in clarity.

I have modest equipment- B&K ST 140/ Paradym Preamp/ Energy 3+2/ Audio Alchemy cd transport.

Bruce's new Magic Album-sound quality issues

Would like to hear from other audiophiles as to their opinions as to what I will call the unique sound quality of Bruce's new album. I ask as there are many negative comments on Amazon about the subject in peoples reviews of the album. Take a look on Amazon. You will be pleasantly surprised that the subject is even being openly discussed. The good news is it looks like some people besides audiophiles care about sound quality. Let me know what you think.

HIFI-Tuning Fuses

HIFI-Tuning Fuses

Tweaks come and go. When a new one creates a buzz in audiophile circles, I generally prefer to wait and see if it's still around after the initial excitement has subsided. I'd heard about "audiophile" fuses some time ago, and although the likelihood of them making a significant difference didn't seem as farfetched as such tweaks as the "intelligent chip" or the "clever little clock," I didn't feel inclined to try them. I was persuaded otherwise by the confluence of two separate influences: a report by Michael Fremer, in the February 2007 Stereophile, that the HiFi-Tuning fuses produced a "subtle but noticeable" improvement in the sound of his Musical Fidelity kWP preamplifier; and an encounter at the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show with Robert Stein of importer Ultra Systems (the HiFi-Tuning fuses are made in Germany), who said that they produced a big improvement and offered to send me some samples.
