I am a frequent reader of these forums, and while I know this question is asked often, I thought I would nonetheless seek everyone's expert advice.
My current system:
Integrated Amp -- NAD 320BEE
CD player -- Arcam CD72
Bookshelf speakers -- Wharfedale Pacific Evo 8
Speaker cables -- Audio Art SC-5 biwires
Interconnects -- Audio Art IC-3
Power supply -- PS Audio Duet
So....
(1) The Arcam CD72 is new and I love it
(2) The interconnects and speaker cables are great -- highly recommended
Hi, I need advice.
Equipment :
1. AEGO M System 2.1 Computer Speakers (1 pair of RCA line-in jacks)
[best there is under USD150. You name it , I had auditioned it --> Logitech, Altec, Klipsch, Edifier , etc]
2. TV with a pair of RCA line-out jacks
3. PC
4. CD Player + integrated amp (with a pair of RCA line-out jacks)
Only 1 Objective :
Through the AEGO, listen to TV (if it is on), or/and PC, or/and CD Player. That is,
a. if I am watching news on TV with the CD player playing - I can hear both through just the speakers.
Hi all,
Okay, so I'm starting from scratch here - I've only got a PC to begin with. What is the best way for me to build an audiophile-quality digital music server? Should I invest in speakers first and foremost or on other components such as an amp? If I only have $4,000 now, how can I "get by" for the meantime, and still be investing for the future?
Thanks,
JR
12 Years ago I purchase a complete Carver and Infinity System for about $6000 and have done little with it since. It is in great condition but I am now in a financial position to start thinking about upgrades and I need help.
The Pre-Amp is a Carver Pro-Logic Pre-Amp
The Primary Amp is a Carver AV-405 5 channel cinema amp with 2 100W Channels, 1 110W Channel and 2 50W Channels.
The secondary amp is a Carver CT 115 stereo 100W amp.
