Room Size

Newbe - thought of posting this in Entry Level but this forum may be more appropriate.

I am building a new room (office and hopefully listening room) and am concerned that it may be too small for quality listening.

Dimensions are about 15" square (not exactly square, one wall may be a foot longer), with two walls vaulted to a 9 or 9 1/2 foot ceiling. The two vaulted walls are connected forming a corner. So back wall is normal (where the speakers would be), right wall is normal, front wall (listening position) vaulted, left wall vaulted.

These speakers inadvertently managed to put me in a good mood even before I listened to them, because of a dumb little gaffe committed by Thiel's packing department. Each speaker came with an Owner's Information sheet, which is nice. Each sheet included Unpacking (and Repacking) Instructions, which is nicer. But each sheet came packed inside the carton, underneath the speaker, where it was not accessible until after the speaker was dumped out of the box, which is pretty silly!

KEF XQ-40 vs EPOS M22i: feedback welcome

Hello Guys,

I'm trying to marry the Rega Apollo and Mira3 with some well-behaving speakers.

I have some problems in finding the new M22i.

In my quest for a good speakers I came across the KEF XQ-40.

May I please ask your advice: did anybody test them?

The dealer of B&W told me: "they are made in China", with a special glitter in his eyes when he was showing the "made in England" label for B&W 704...

Thank you!

Dilemma with Epos M5

Forums

A while ago I had posted about bi-amping with the Epos M5 - I still haven't gone bi-amp, but now I have another dilemma, and hopefully you guys can help out =)

Right now I'm running the M5 with the Exposure 2010s integrated amplifier - I love the sound that this setup produces - great high/mid and controlled bass with natural crossovers. However, I'm sort of a bass-head and would like to hear more of it - my M5 delivers quality bass, but sometimes I wish it simply had more in quantity.
