I decided to finally take the plunge and biamp my Lowther DX-3's.

I went out and overspent on a new SET using genuine Western Eclectic 300B's, but now I can't for the life of me find where the tweeter hook ups are on the damned speaker.

I mean, I can find the main speaker hook up, and it looks almost like to goes right the the back of the speaker cone...but I can't find where the woofer and tweeter part diverge so I can hook up the two amps.

A little help?

After reading the new issue of Stereophile and going through the recommended gear i find it some what strange that a Tri Planar arm has not been reviewed by your rag. What gives.

Another question, was wanting to know if it is possible to hook a single cd player to two recivers at once and play both of them at the same time. I know it sounds silly, but I have an old Realistic STA2000 Reciver and wanted to use it for something, and if this works I can add more speakers to my system.

I'm not entirely satisfied with the 6L6GC tubes in the Leben (using Winged Cs now; good balance but sounds recessed) or the EL34s (again, Winged Cs: way too forward, especially in treble & mids, too mid-range-y & typically "tube-y" & extroverted in sound)

Have a question on hooking up a power amp to a HK 4385 reciever. I need a power amp to run 2, F-3 Klipsch speakers and was going to run a seperate amp for each speaker. Could someone tell me exactly how these would connect to my reciever. I know you use the pre-outs and one would go to the L out and the other to the R out. Does anything thing come back from the amps to the recievers main in connections. I would like to know the wiring configurations before I order these amps.

I tried this site out based on (I think) an article on the Stereophile site, and I have to say it's very well done! Not as slick as iTunes, but also easier to see what you're looking for and best of all: DRM free, high-quality uncompressed music!

Hello to all, this is my first post, forgive me if this is in the wrong section...

I am looking to upgrade my CD player, having a collection of over 1000 titles, I think it would be an investment.

My current system:

CD: Musical Fidelity A3.2
Integr. amp. A3.2
Speakers: Dynaudio Audience 72
X-Can V3 with Sennheiser HD650
Rega P3 with Grado Platinum

Can anyone advise as to whether speakers with some small dents to the tweeter affect the sound in any way? I would assume that the sound would be affected, but a friend claims it is not, and that this is merely a cosmetic flaw. The speaker in question has a metal tweeter.
