Hello ...

I am in the market for a budget-priced SACD/HDCD/DVD-A player for a modest 2-channel Hi-Fi system. I can find remarkably little information in these forums on the DV-7600. Anybody use one and have an opinion on it or have a better recommendation?

While most of the speakers at CEDIA seem to be designed for concealment, from on-wall to in-wall and, even, <I>behind</I>-wall in the case of the Stealth Acoustics designs. The latter mount in the wall but with the expectation that the installer will plaster over them. As a result, no pix from me but you can imagine what they look like by viewing your own wall.

Hi

Muti's debut now hes been appointed is Verdi's Requiem.

I understand that this is a very famous and respected work, but ive listened to a little of it, is it all so dull and deathly ??? does it ever cheer up or does the whole peice stay somber and dour ? just seeing if I should keep my ticket.

Im not passing judgement on the undoubted merits of a well known peice of work, just trying to see if its right for me. Im beginning to think that any classical vocal work is a much further step over the classical divide than the orchestral music im really getting into.

Hi

I currently have a Quad CDP2 with Quad pre 99/909 driving Dynaudio Focus 220's. I have a marantz TT15 with Maestro for analog and Denon 2900 for two channel universal playback.

Well the analogue had started to rule for my basic playback, but then i need to work something out for digital. I have a pretty wide range of DVD A, SACD and DTS discs that id like to maintain two channel playback on, i also of course of a wide range of CD's.
