B&W DM 602 S3 connection question

I am a complete newbee to the site and HiFi, so please bear with me. I hope i am posting to the correct forum.

I bought a pair of used B&W DM 602 S3 and this is the first pair of speakers that i have owned that has 4 connection posts for possible bi-amping or bi-wiring.

Are the separate pairs of connectors supposed to be connected by a link? I don't have access to the owners manual since i bought the speakers used.

Do i just link both pairs together? or is it allright to use either one of the pairs without connecting them together?

Which do you prefer: A system that always creates beauty or one that can reveal the ugly truth?

Reader "dr.d" asks: "Is it better to have a decent system that allows all recordings to sound good, or to have a system that might make some not-so-hot recordings no fun to listen to?" What's your preference, a system that always creates beauty or one that can reveal the ugly truth?

Article for my Website

I would like to get some input from fellow audiophiles on the iPod for an article that I am writing for my Website (www.hifirotation.com). I have seen two camps for the iPod: those that think any form of compressed music is garbage and others that think by using additional ad ons can make iPod music acceptable. I would like to know what you think?
