I live in an old house where the wooden floors are uneven. The speakers in my living have plinths, but the speakers are still very tippy. What's the best way to secure these floorstanders so that they are no longer in danger of falling over.

Having read Kal's review of the Parasound Halo P7, I'm wondering if my interpretation is correct:

Essentially the P7 is a really good $2K preamp with the added benefit of 7 channel inputs... rather than being just a very specialized product (with limited market appeal)...

(the other option that I assumed when I initially heard about the P7 was that it would just be a P3 with multi-channel inputs)

So in case all that was not clear:

If I was in the market for a $2K preamp (but didn't need multi-channel inputs) should I seriously consider the Parasound?

Nothing all that new here, except that it's not a big magazine or newspaper. Even the 2nd tier press seems to be taking a look at analogue revival. It's also interesting it takes a fairly neutral stance on the issue.

What's to be placed at the first reflection point of side walls? Absorption panel or Diffusor?

My listening room is rather small (10.5' width x 14' length x 10' height), currently bookshelves (diffusor) are placed at first reflection point of side walls, will absorption panel playing greater role in sound improvement over the bookshelves?

I am wondering if I can feed a Creek Destiny Integrated Amp with a Grace m902 DAC Pre-Amp, because the m902 IS a Pre-Amp, and the Destiny also has a Pre-Amp...
Would this cause any harm in the quality of the resulting sound?

First timer here. I'm looking for a few expert opinions on which of the above amps I should grab. I've read great things about the Prima Luna line and I've also heard the CJ, which I think sounds really sweet.

Has anyone here heard the PL's and a comparable CJ amp? Do you have an opinion on which sounds better? I listen to pop & rock primarily with a 10% dose of piano jazz thrown in.
