subscription pain and suffering

We used to post these kinds of complaints on Audio Asylum and harass John Atkinson with them. I'm not doing that, I'm posting it here. 4 months ago, my magazines stopped coming. So, I did the right and proper thing and went to the customer service part of this sight and explained my problem. About a month later, I received a postal letter thanking me for notifying of my change of address (my address has never changed!). Still no magazine.

How to Make a karaoke system from existing stereo equips?

Hello,

I'm a novice but i care about quality sound for a budget, i have a system include:

source: PS3

Intergate amplifier: Onkyo a-9555

Speakers: monitor audio silver rs6

My wife love karaoke and i love to set it up for her but i don't know what would be the best way to approach it without spending too much with many more equipment. So i wonder if i can just buy a mixer and a microphone, what kind of mixer analog or digital.....would the sounds will be synz or it's gonna sound like 2 seperate sources?.....

any help would be appreciated.

TAS Reviewer continues to bash JA's measurements

TAS reviewer R.E. Greene continues to feel the need to bash JA's measurements see:

He then went out of of his way to bash YG speakers and their designer here:

I alerted JA and Mr.Mr.Geva to this unprofessional behavior.

Speakers help

Hello Folks, has any of you listened to both PSB synchrony one and Harbeth SHL5. What are the sonic charecteristics of each. Are there other competitors that I should consider at the $5000 price range. I understand we have the Magnepan 3.6, but they might be too big for my room. Thanks.

On Newsstands Now: Stereophile, Vol.32 No.3 (March 2009)

The March 2009 issue of <i>Stereophile</i> is now on newsstands. I know this because people are <a href="http://forum.stereophile.com/forum/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=60827&an=0… complaining</a> about the $107,000/pair loudspeaker we put on the cover.

Thanks

Thanks to JA and PM for their columns devoted to John Crabbe. Mr. Crabbe obviously meant quite a bit to both men. I too was a JC fan from my first read of HFNRR in the mid 1970's. Until the final issue with a JC column, I looked forward to the arrival of HiFi New's in my mail box to see what Mr. Crabbe had to say and about what item we was saying it. I have a copy of his "HiFi in the Home" on my shelves, it's time to take it down for another read.
