JA Please Interpret: Focal 1037 Be Frequency Response w/ Moscode 401HR Amp
I am considering purchasing the 1037's after hearing them at a shop. I already own a Moscode 401HR amp, and I wonder how the two measurement related comments below will affect the sound? The last thing I want is an amp/speaker combo that accentuates highs. I am selling my current speakers because I find them too bright for my tastes.

I've read the various reviews in Stereophile on the Cary CD 303/300, the Ayre CX-7e and the Bryston BCD-1. All were excellent accounts and certainly grabbed my attention - and based on these reviews, all three are now on my short list for consideration. Unfortunately, I have only heard the Ayre (without the MP upgrade), which was a bit forward but astounding in its detail and vocal realism. The other two brands aren't easily found in my neck of the woods.

Sheet music, recently identified as part of a childhood creation by Mozart, was shown during a press conference held by the research department of the International Mozarteum Foundation in Salzburg, Austria, Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009. Mozart's momentous legacy grew Sunday as researchers unveiled two piano pieces recently identified as childhood creations by the legendary composer.
This is very nice and on the heals of the recently discovered lost Beethoven Piano Trios performed in Chicago recently.
Hello. I wanted to pick the brains of turntables connoisseurs. I'm looking for a analog setup to partner with my revel ultima 2s.
So, the setup must on the lively side, not bright, to complement the speakers. Would the Avid Volvere be a good choice? Thanks for the feedback.
