Hi people, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, sorry for bothering on this "town" again, I know that here the stuff to deal is stereo, but seeing as you guys have now a PC Audio sub-section (and ultimate AV still doesn't have a forum) I decided to try again, hoping no 1 would mind.

Well, a copy of Audio Xpress showed up in the bottom of my Parts Express box that arrived yesterday, so I read it while I was muttering about how to cut a nice circular hole exactly 4 25/32 in diameter. (freeping drivers with no flange to speak of)

Surprise, an article about cable testing by Ed Simon. Now, there is history there, I KNOW Ed, have known him since I was a freshman at CMU, he and I were in a few lab groups along with a couple of other people who have done quite well since. (Yes, it was a fun lab group, boys and women.)

I don't know about anyone else, but I get tired of seeing the same confrontational/libelous garbage volleyed about. Sammett and Frog take any and every opportunity (irregardless of thread subject matter) to recycle the same tired, axe-grinding, personal grudge nonsense...it was past its shelf life long ago..now it is just annoying.

So, maybe the reason so many "conservatives" are heads-in-the-sand global-warming deniers of the worst sort is pretty simple.

They know it's happening, and they are licking their chops, waiting for Manhattan to flood.

What's this guy's problem? JA & others use recordings they are familiar with. Some are ones JA has done the recording of; so? JA's reputation & integrity are at risk because of this? That's nonsense!
John, I liked your response & thanks for reference to WP's article; good reading. Also, regarding Editor's Choice, I printed out that article & read it when I listen to the CD which is very good! Larry
