I just noticed this the other day on Stereopile features.

A while back, I linked to the gramophone.net site where ALL of the magazine's past issues (back iinto 1920's!) are archived and PDF'd. This is obviously a boon for record collectors, etc., for checking out contemporary reviews of historical recordings...
But I've been discovering that Gramophone used to have a pretty active equipment reviews! Very fun to read & relatively thorough, especially compared to the 3-4 paragraphs they devote nowadays at the back, which are nothing more than adverts, really.

I have recently acquired a Raysonic CD168 player. I replaced the tubes that came with it with some NOS tubes. I'm elated with the results I'm getting in my system with this fantastic player.
Anyone have experience with the CD238 or CD228?
