New French company setting modern performance/standard for amps

Not sure how many of you read hi-finews, but Paul Miller has been left pretty astonished by a new player to the market; Devialet.

Basically its a Class D-all digital input (supports direct Studio Master quality 192kHz/24bit digital audio) and class A amp coupled to the speakers.
Seems that the Class D manages the current while the Class A defines the full voltage swing.
In his words the idea is similar to the Quad's "feedforward".

Anyway 1st time I have seen Paul write a review that he comes across as astonished with the design and performance in good terms.

Axpona Approaches

Axpona</A>, the Audio Expo of North America, is geared up for its premiere next Friday in Jacksonville, Florida. The new Show runs March 5–7 at the 350-room Wyndham Riverwalk Hotel, which overlooks the St. Johns River and is just 15 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean. Sponsored by Stereophile, which will blog live from the show, Axpona is already looking like a winner. Impressive figures for advance Internet registration (discounted through March 1) indicate that Axpona might meet or even surpass attendance at last year's Rocky Mountain Audio Fest, in Denver.
