Hi there. I have "invested" in my stereo system well over $10.000 in components, including Triangle brand speakers. Anyway, as I am a perfectionist in music and a firm believer of the "sweet spot" meaning that being the speakers in the right position etc etc you could perfectly hear the 3 dimension stereo music effect and all its benefits. Anyway, whenever I tried to listen to my music first I did some speakers positioning work using the Stereophile cd test. I could never do it right. I got really frustrated spending hours moving the speakers and my seat without enjoying my music.
Its the Beethoven festival at the CSO this month
Ive got tickets to two piano recitals then im watching the 5th & 8th then the finale in a couple of weeks is the 9th. I restricted the number of concerts and went for quality seats, i love sitting in the boxes and relaxing, so much better than being squashed into the balcony seats. Symphony hall was designed for midgets, not normal size Americans !!
I've been thinking about this for a long time. We want the sound to be more organic, right ?
So I held on to the power wires from my amp with my right hand and stuck my left hand fingers into the socket. Of course I already had music loaded and playing, knowing that both hands would be occupied.
Unfortunately I was knocked unconscious before I could properly evaluate any improvement in the sound.
But, after two months in hospital I am back home and ready to experiment some more.
I plan to use dogs and cats this time in order to be in the listening position.
Why is Acoustic Sounds pushing 45 RPM records. They have like 7 to 10 tracks per disc. Here is an example...
