The coming European Crash?

I am reminded of the last time I was posting in France in August of 2007 when I said a BIG crash was coming and that the political issue in 2008 would be the economy, not the war. JA (or some other person in the know...answer me this)

the guy is talking about LP cartridges(needles-stylus)..is this true?

The medium itself is physically limited at the extreme low end, sure. But needles, even really really good ones, have reduced separation in high frequencies. This isn't necessarily an undesirable "problem" either, depending on what you're trying to do, or listen to.

Quote: the separation specs are always lower at 10kHz than they are at 2kHz

Vinyl Rules & New Blogs Rising

Even on a modest analog rig ($50 Technics turntable and $100 Cambridge Audio phono preamp), Arlen has had no trouble noting vinyl’s virtues, which in his experience include wider soundstages, better focused images, and tighter bass. Most of all, it seems, Arlen is enjoying hunting for outstanding bargains on used LPs and sharing his discoveries with friends and family. Be sure to check out the slideshow.
