Drug store robber wore cast, bandages

WEATHERFORD, Texas (UPI) -- Police in Texas say a man with a cast on his left arm and walking with a crutch held a handgun in his good arm to rob a pharmacy of narcotic painkillers.

Weatherford police said the robber, who also wore bandages on his head and had the arm bearing the cast in a sling, pointed a handgun at the Walgreens pharmacy worker about 2:30 a.m. Monday and demanded OxyContin, the Fort Worth (Texas) Star-Telegram reported.

Russian Spies

Russian spies. Hiding out as journalists and professors. Need I say more about all the shit that has been said about journalism and the high brow universities being full of shit. What a perfect place to mingle and not be noticed spying. You know, it is a fact that McCarthy was right. The Truman Administration was teething with communists. Right under his stupid fucking Democrat nose. God only knows what kind of fucking freaks we got hiding within the administrations of Obama. BTW, the redhead spy is a fox.

Is Jazz a Young Person's Music After All?

A week ago, I went to see Chris Potter lead a top-notch quintet at the Jazz Standard. It was a great set. Potter’s big tenor-sax sound keeps getting more swinging, more virtuosic, yet at the same time tonally subtler. Joining him were Steve Nelson on vibes, Paul Motian on drums, Craig Taborn on piano, and Scott Colley on bass. Potter was smiling a lot during their solos, as if he couldn’t quite believe that he’d assembled such a crew.

Buying speakers need advice!

Hi, I'm new to this forum but I'm hoping for some advice on speakers. Ideally, I'd like to use the speakers for both my sony receiver as well as for my TV. I have a small apartment so I need to keep size in mind. I cannot go over 11" high for speakers. I've listened to the B&W 686s, the Totem Mites and the Totem Dreamcatchers but are there other speakers that I should be checking out? Do you need more information about my set up? Thanks for any advice!
