Now you can get the entire 1000W B&O stero in the S8 for $6300. But should I buy some wires for that price? Wonder what kind of wire they use, probably insulation designed for teh enviorment....nice!!! http://www.fourtitude.com/news/publish/Audi_News/article_2529.shtml
Hey, buddy, thanks for living long enough to let mathematics know just how high numbers can go!
Dang, I remember you mentioned today, then I forgot. Woulda found a way to make more trouble had I not forgotten.
Dude, I wish you better than the best. I'm happy I can claim to know you, and I wish everyone else could have the pleasure, as well.
Bottom line (raising a toast of some fine Rhone from a vintage after your year of birth - otherwise I'd have had to dig it out of some clay pot) - I hope I live to be as old as you look.
All the best, amigo.

this is a followup post to a question you answered in critics' corner over on audio asylum. regarding the lack of followup to the pass xa160 review, you said that pass never sent a 2nd sample and you didn't followup either. is it usual that stereophile will ask for another sample in such cases or do you leave it up to the manufacturer?
thanks, john
Hi all. I'm looking for a new cd player, in the area of $500-$800. I've been looking for one that plays SACD, no DVD's. I have the new Denon DVD-2930CI, and so far I'm very pleased with it. But I'd like a dedicated cd player for a few reasons, one of which is to reduce wear and tear.
I've searched the forums here, but haven't found anything yet. Any recommendations? I'll be using it with the new Yamaha RX-V2700 (Yamaha responded to my e-mail asking when it will be shipping: late October).
Hey hey, everybody!
Sam Tellig had Lars, I have Big Mike. If you've met me, you've met him.
His birthday is September 4th, but I always transpose my math and think it's the 10th.
He is one of the greatest people ever to walk the face of Hi Fi.
He has two tin ears, can't hear phase to save his life, can't detect burnt out tubes in his front end or burnt out capacitors in his back end, but dammit, he has yet to meet a piece of gear that he doesn't think needs to be modded before he's heard it.
