looking for general feedback on best subwoofer in the $800-$1200 range ?

SVS ?
velodyne ?
Sunfire ?

Any thoughts appreciated, the sub will be used in a 5.1 system primarily used for multichannel music

Just curious. I usually receive my issue before I start seeing it at newsstands but not this month. I've seen it for WEEKS now and the response I got from Sterophile is that I should have it by April 3! Anyone else?
