This is for a home audio receiver. (Technics SA-EX3200)
I then got a Pioneer S-HTD530 5.1CH Speaker System (seen here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16882117184).
The subwoofer is unpowered. I can't return the speakers.
Is there an amp I can put between the sub and the receiver?

I joined this sight thinking I was going to purchase a Yamaha 2-channel receiver with Paradigm speakers. After reading posts and reviews I decided to do more research on stereo equip. My wallet and wife aren't too happy, but I think I'll be much happier with a higher end system.
I've narrowed my choice to Amp:NAD C372, CD Player:NAD C525BEE and Speakers:Paradigm Monitor 7.
Any suggestions, recommendations or comments are appreciated.
Thanks to Stereophile for 3 well-written reviews of SACD/CD/universal players in the current issue. After reading them, my impression was that the Muse Polyhymnia player was a nightmare to operate, and that the Marantz player had the best lab measurements of all three players. Among the three players, I didn't see anything that would make someone consider spending an addition $5-6K over the cost of the Marantz if their interest was in Red Book CD or 2-channel SACD.
