Advice on Improving Sound

I am currently looking to buy some type of amp to push my main left/right speakers when listening to music, however I am not sure what I need to do.

Here is what I am running currently:

Receiver-Pioneer Elite VSX-94TXH

Center- Infinity Beta C250

Front Left/Right- Infinity Beta 50's

Rear Left/Right- Infinity Beta ES250's

Sub- Klipsch Sub-10

Transrotor Artus

Transrotor Artus

I have seen few turntables, no any mechanical devices more likely to induce flat-out gadget lust than the $150,000 Transrotor Artus. It has a magnetically coupled drive assembly, which means no points of contact between motor and platter. It's machined from solid billets of high-grade aluminum, finished to an impeccable sheen. Its deck is gimbal-mounted to freakishly huge counterweights for absolute level and stability (think gyroscope here). Its power supply uses something called "Konstant M3," which I gather is pretty special, but my limited German and the Transrotor rep's far less limited English prevented me from determining in what way.

Phono Preamp?

Hello!
I'm trying to complete a system and am in need of a phono preamp. Currently I have a NAD C-325 integrated and a NAD CD player of similar quality. I'm pretty set on a Rega P1 turntable (unless anyone has any other recommendations) but I'm not sure where to start with a phono preamp. Just trying to match the quality level I've got so far. Don't neet a $1000 pre for a $400 turntable or a $10 pre for the same purpose. Anyone got any brands/models to start my search?

Custom-built Quiet PC with Lynx L22 soundcard as Source?

Hi, guys, I need some expert opinion on this matter, as I'm a total luddite. I'm building a system from scratch (if you've read my posts in the Entry Level: I'm deciding between Pathos Classic MK III or Leben CS600 integrated amps, coupled with Devore Gibbon speakers, most likely.)

Balanced XLR vs Unbalanced RCA

So I'm still deliberating between Pathos Classic MK III, Leben CS600, and Plinius 8150 for my integrated. I was considering - as source - Cambridge Audio 840C, Slim Devices Transporter, or a custom built quiet PC connected directly to the amp via Lynx L22 card (is the last idea bad/dangerous?)

I'm very much interested in going for the Leben, especially as I do a lot of music through headphones, and the headphone out on the Leben CS600 is just incredible; this would get rid of the need for another component, get it out of the way of music...

Removing sibilance without remastering

Forums

I'd like to remove some of the sibilance from what I hear from my speakers without remastering any of my recordings. Since much of what I listen to is on mp3 (obviously not the best choice) this is often a problem in this format.

I just read an article about an equalizer doing the job nicely.

Could anyone weigh in on this? How does one go about choosig an equalizer?
