After sitting in my closet I decided to hook up my Definitive Tech Sub to my system using the sub out from my preamp. What I would like to better understand is what level to set the Sub at? Too much and it sounds mushy to little and it sounds decent but not great. Also what the difference between an OK sub and a great Sub?

Speakers: monitor audio silver rs6

My wife love karaoke and i love to set it up for her but i don't know what would be the best way to approach it without spending too much with many more equipment. So i wonder if i can just buy a mixer and a microphone, what kind of mixer analog or digital.....would the sounds will be synz or it's gonna sound like 2 seperate sources?.....

any help would be appreciated.

I recently bought a used Audio Research PH3 to replace my Bellari and it hums. So I took my Rega P3-24 and the PH3 to the dealer and connected it in his system and there was no hum. Could any one let me know what could be the problem and how can I fix it.

Hello Folks, has any of you listened to both PSB synchrony one and Harbeth SHL5. What are the sonic charecteristics of each. Are there other competitors that I should consider at the $5000 price range. I understand we have the Magnepan 3.6, but they might be too big for my room. Thanks.
