It seems that over the past few weeks most of the forum regulars seem to have forgotten how to scroll down the main forum page. You see when you scroll down the page you come to the section called "Audio Software", in other words, music. has anyone heard any good music lately?

There is no mention of using error correction or not - will this affect the overall quality of the sound?

It's been quite a while since DUP was banned "indefinitely" from these forums. The assumption and justification for his ban were that he was too disruptive to these forums and without him, there would be peace, civility and forum members would just become a happy go lucky bunch.

ordered the nitty gritty but while i am waiting, was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a DIY solution and brush?

McIntosh 60th Anniversary set.

Not a big fan of the "Hurry, act now, only 60 sets per country" line of sales, but maybe they could only get so many of a certain part.

Wouldn't these babies look nice with a set of Churchills, or maybe a limited release reissue of the JBL Paragon?

For the last two days I've been auditioning the Revel Salon 2's with the top of the line Ayre gear: KX-R, MX-R monoblocks, C-5xe player.

Although this is a very impressive setup, sounding stunning at times, it was failing to engage me into the music. It was as if the system was trying too hard, for lack of a better description.

The midrange liquidity that I have heard from much less expensive systems (like ARC) was just not there. It sounded a bit forward and forced, too eager..?

Anyone have any experience with this integrated amp? Considering it for bookshelf speaker set-up. Seems to be well reviewed and the 20 year warranty suggests quality build.
