Buy the one from the seller in the US, unless your located in the UK. There are two or three other choices in this price range, but you can't go too far wrong with Rega.

Good advice about buying domestically, but be wary! I've bought 2 tt's from eBay. The first was packed by a mailing center who had no clue. It was DOA after the platter mixmastered the tone arm and dustcover. Much haggling ensued for refund. The second was impeccably packed by a pro, but has never performed as expected (a cosmetically perfect Philips 212 Electronic). I didn't pay enough to hassle the seller and it LOOKS great, anyway.
I have had other bad luck stories with electronics purchases on eBay and will never go that route again. I'd suggest finding a cool local dealer or at least an authorized e-seller like Music Direct or Audio Advisor. If my experiences run to form, you'll save money in the long run.
Thanks for the advice. I was nervous about eBay, so it's helpful to get some input on whether to go through that site.
I think I'll end up going with a Rega P1 from Audio Advisor.
My advice is stick with Audiogon.com. Pretty much everyone selling is an audiophile who knows and cares about the gear they have. I've had nothing but good experiences there, and a buddy of mine has bought his entire system from the site.
