Be very wary!

I gotta leave for work, but I'll add more later.

Go here, and check the "fraud" section...

OK, I made it to work.

Like the link said, buyers can "appear" to have sent payment, and it can even come through as "approved" from the Moneygram people, but when the credit card company the buyer pretended to use gets the charge and reverses it, you have already allowed them to take possession of the item...and you are out the item with no money.

Sellers who insist on this payment format, with excuses like "Paypal dicked me around to much..." are savvy enough to wait until they can extract the cash from your Moneygram (when it's a done deal,) and then say they shipped your item, but they never do...making you out the money, with very little easy recourse to recovering your funds.

Either way, no amount of paranoia is too paranoid with some of this stuff.

Thanks Buddha.
