While not as practical as Kal's suggestion, you might also consider the approach of leaving things as they are and deciding that since these are your speakers, you get to decide which is left and which right. Might make that orchestra seem to be seated improperly, but it should do wonders for your self esteem.
I propose a third option, turn around and face away from your speakers.
