im sure it will get ignored by the audiophile press just like everything else they do.

though.. the 96 DAC ran all over the darling of the AP press , the Benchmark (cant remember the new model) for me, no contest.. there were 10 or so of us, and only one of us preferred the Benchmark. the rest of us preferred mytek by a long shot.

REVIEW THIS, STEREOPHILE.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very interesting. A dac that is actually affordable. What transport sends out DSD? The Oppo does, but only over HDMI. Hope Stereophile reviews this! Please JA.
thanks

Probably more chance for this to be reviewed in a pro audio magazine first, but as you say a review here with the Stereophile focus would be interesting as well.

Looking at ProAudio Review, seems this is also under their radar (they have reviewed the 8x192 in the past).
Still, I cannot help point out that certain Pro manufacturers have made it across to audiophile press; major examples are Pass Labs and Chord Electronics (although consumer and not cheaper pro version usually reviewed), amongst others.

Definitely interested if you get more info on this product.
Cheers

Thanks for the information. This would make a great comparison with my Benchmark.
