Monoprice pure copper #12 speaker cable is the way to go.
Monoprice #2789 is a 100-foot spool.
Thanks for the recommendation. I'll keep Monoprice in mind when I plan to upgrade the cables for my computer system.
I ended up going with a pair of Signal Cable's Classic Speaker Bi-Wire Cables.

I read good reviews, and for the price I thought the value/quality was proportionate to the rest of my system (Rotel RA-12, Pro-Ject Debut Carbon, Polk Rti's).
Cheers!

Signal Cable is excellent- boMD. Keep me posted as you break-in w/in your system!
Glad to hear you have high regards for Signal Cable.
I am quite happy with them. Previously I had a long cable run and couldn't afford much. So I was running 20 foot long custom terminated and shielded Monster cables. I recently moved and was able to reduce may run down to 6 feet and the Signal Cables seemed like the best option to match my system for my budget.
After using them for a little over 3 months I think I am safely passed the burn-in period. Compared to my genky Monster cables they seem more controlled and less airy. If that makes sense.
Plus the build quality is fabulous.
