I don't think that the NAD 3020 is a good choice. I don't think it will drive those speakers (and very few speakers) well in such a large room.

They are great speakers, and you probably have seen the deeply discounted prices on them at Music Direct ($720/ pair).

I suggest that you spend $550 and get the Music Hall A15.3, which will be a much better choice, regardless of the speakers you pick. If you prefer NAD, the C326BEE is also the same price (at Crutchfield) and would be a good choice

If you decide that you want bookshelf speakers, the Focal 706V are very good.

I had Bostons A26 with my Nad D3020 mabye Q acoustics 2050 sensitivity is 92 db and price is reasonable

that NAD D 3020 is not going to be powerful enough to drive any speaker in a room that big unless it is extremely efficient, say Klipsch. I would get a more powerful amp and relatively sensitive speakers.

If you really want those Focals, you might consider the Cambridge Topaz SR10. It is a good balance between power and quality. Night as refined as an integrated but will output a very real 85w per channel and still sound very, very good.

It sounds like your budget is a bit flexible. It sounds like $1299 is pushing it for the Focals. At $1000 you could consider the new Infinity Reference line. The R263s sound great and at $900 a pair, the PSB Imagine x1T are awesome. You may want to listen to the Kilpsch Reference RF62 or RF82 as they will deliver big sound. I don't like them but lots of people do. They are about $1000 a pair.

The nad D3020 is actually an okay powerfull amp just over 40 watt pr channel in 8 ohm, most peaople think the need 100watt or so, in reallity they would be perfectly fine with 50 good watt pr channel
