Maybe he knows his stand against abortion rights would work against him.

I will give him this, it is very difficult to be a Democratic politician and stay prolife for even awhile. So, I admire him standing for awhile.

I agree, he is a dead-politician walking...

The blues are upset that he's pro-life and the reds hate him cause he's a Democrat.

Amazing how each side has its litmus tests.

Really? Is that really good enough? To stand for a while? What kind of fucked up leadership is that? He shot himself in the dick and rightly so. He's done and so will a lot of his comrades in the regime.

"He says he wants to spend more time with his family and start a new career after 18 years in Congress."

Is this unthinkable nowadays?

Everybody in the public eye say that when they failed. He failed the constituents he represented. Just like he also added that he could win reelection if he ran. It's all bullshit. He is done and it is just the first one down. Democrats are like Muslims dancing in the streets on 911. A shitload of them have been sent to their 72 virgins since then.

Your answer certainly follows on one level. But since when did imminent defeat trigger a quitting mechanism? Most candidates refuse to accept the possibility of loss and hold on to the promise of power long after the last dance. There's even good money to be made and channeled to cronies in a losing campaign. Hence my question. Why? Party pressure?

What party pressure? He doesn't even have overall party support to fight for his position. He was left out in the cold. American anger is the pressure he is feeling. He would never win reelection after what he did to his constituents. What is also damaging is that he was the lead idiot. He quit. Dropped everybody that supported him. Now he doesn't have to support those poor bastards fight to win reelection in their own home turf. Just the first domino to fall.

Lamont, I guess you've missed the news.

19 red partiers are not seeking re-election, either.

16 blue party.

Reaction formation and rationalization will get you nothing and like it. You obviously found some talking point comfort zone. And you bitch about people that listen to daytime talk radio? This dickhead resigned because he doesn't stand a chance in Hell even if he made a Faustian Deal. Actually, if I think about it he did, in fact, take a Faustian Deal. But that was for fucking up our country not for reelection. We only get one deal with the Devil. His next position in life will reveal his true colors. It takes a pretty darn level headed person to recognize necromancy when he sees it.

Tea Party Supporters Richer, More Educated Than Most, Poll Finds

Quote:
The New York Times/CBS News poll took the temperature of Tea Party supporters on a number of topics, and turned up some results that might seem apparent -- Tea Partiers mostly describe themselves as "very conservative," they say President Obama's policies favor the poor and they describe the president as "very liberal."

But in a number of areas, their responses mirrored the general public's. And, according to the poll, their incomes and education levels are well above average.

So, eat shit and die, loser. I don't think these motherfuckers are going anywhere.

Intelligence doesn't go along with common sense. Most of these people don't know what the acronym TEA stands for. They just know they don't like something and they all just get together and agree to agree on everything they disagree with. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Stupid liberals think by telling somebody to shut up is going to work. Their philosophy? "It's so stupid it might just work!" Just look at their health care act. And of course only a liberal would come up with something as stupid as, "Don't like government and taxes?" Duh. Most people don't like government and taxes unless they are getting money from the government and not paying taxes. Like the David L. A ward of the government. Basketball at 3:00 and supper at 5:00. Every day except Mondays. Monday night is bowling night. Like those bums at the Salvation Army. Bitching about the last Salvation Army they stayed at and how great the current one is until the current one gets tired of his shit and gives him a one-way bus ticket to the next Salvation Army where he will bitch about the last Salvation Army he stayed at and how great the current one is. I listen to NPR ever day. Fucking bums. Except today? There was a piece on how is Obama's shit going to work because the accountants can't reconcile a damn single number. Duh. There is no math were math is concerned. It's all about manipulation. In other words. Plain fucking lying. His biggest lie today was how an urban negro is going to fix safety concerns for those poor white trailer trash in the West Virginia coal mines. That was a riot.

So, you favor shooting people who support civil liberties?

How quaint. You'd fit right into the old USSR.

Yep, the tea party types are the "I've got mine, screw you, bud" sociopaths, alright.

One thing you don't support is civil liberties. Your type [bony inbred weak freckled redhead choirboys] were the first to kill in The Lord of the Flies and the first to turn on your fellow citizens in Red Dawn. "Wolverines!".

I don't participate in the TEA party movement. I'm one of your hired guns that happens to empathize with them. They are not your garden variety tax evaders. I find those mostly nonpartisan and unregistered voters. The drop out of society people. TEA party people don't appear to be going anywhere. Except to the voting booths.
