I say listen to it and buy it - sounds like a good deal.
These decks are so simple that there is virtually nothing that can go wrong with them; this should mean that the dealer is willing to offer some kind of warranty. However give it a good look over and a listen (as you should with anything used) and if you're happy go for it. Sounds like a great deal so I wouldn't expect it to hang around for long!
Yeah he is giving the rest of the 6 months warranty. I listened to it, but as I am not familiar with turn tables I was not able to make a judgement.
As I write this it should ALREADY BE AT YOUR HOUSE!!!!!!!
get thee to the stereo store young man. seriously, you listened to it, did you like the sound? bring your own records if you have any but don't waste time.
So, now that you've had time to buy it, set it up, and spin some wax - how does it sound with your equipment?
If you don't like it, I'll take it for $725.
Folks...the baby is spinning in my house with a Bellari..thru my NAD C352 and MA RS6 speakers...and I am chillin out! Thanks to you all...
Awesome!
Congratulations Pradeep! I know the feeling, sometimes a deal looks just too good to be true and you get cold feet...
Anyway, I am glad you had the courage of your convictions, I was sure you were going to end up missing it.
Happy listening!
Now that you've bit the vinyl bug, the best advice I can give you is give someone you trust full custody of your wallet. Used record stores and the on-line 180 gram vinyl dealers will become your cross to bear. Welcome to the club!
...and whatever you do don't read Stephen's blog! You could just find that your credit card debt is the size of his!
Is there an 'Audiophiles Anonymous'? If so can someone please post the number?
Good advice.
And don't spend any time at Important Records. Or Aural Exploits. And, most important, don't even think about Insound.
You're the devil.
It's always the diciples you have to worry about!
Jim is right. I am just a student of the black arts.
I bet you're a Slytherin too!
Just came back from the record store, checked my bank account before going to the store... ...I login to the forums...and god! I guess I am already spoilt and can't stop practicing the black art ... thanks for all the enthusiasm and passion guys!
I should also warn against visiting SoundStageDirect, where, for the next 24 hours, you can receive 12% off from all purchases over $99 by entering coupon code LP22 in the checkout page.
Yup, don't go there.
Get thee behind me!
