Hi All!
My old faithful is a Luxman PD310 record player with a VS300 power supply/vacuum pump. Recently, the vacuum sensing circuitry seems to have gone with the result that the pump works, but times out in stead of maintaining the vacuum needed to hold the record "clamped".
I believe this is a common problem with these units. However, I've been unable to find anyone who can fix it. Any suggestion to who can, preferably in Europe, would be most welcome!
TIA

I'm thinking of recreating the stereo system that my parents bought for me back in 1970. I can track down the receiver but can't recall the speaker model. I know it was a two-way bookshelf KLH. I figure, while this is not stereophile equipment, there must be some knowledgable person out here who can tell me what model they might be. The current KLH company can't help with anything prior to 1989.
Thanks in advance.

Can anybody comment on the Clearaudio Magix Magnetic Levitation Feet?
I would like to use devices like these to control/attenuate external vibration affecting my digital source component.
The air cushion seems to make sense, but I don't know if the magnetic field would have a negative influence on my component's electronic boards.
FYI... the latest Slimserver Beta incorporates "Pre-Amp Volume Control" which allows attenuation of the analog RCA outs for DIRECT input to your amp. Bypassing the entire pre-amp stage, cables, etc. yields absolutely pristine sound (even with the native Burr-Brown DAC). IMHO, *THIS* approach is the future gold-standard! (My system... Squeezebox2 into Sunfire Cinema Grand vertically bi-amped driving ML Aerius i's).
We have just shipped the December issue of Stereophile to the printer, which includes the magazine's annual "Products of the Year" feature.
While I was compiling the list of winning products from the votes submitted by the magazine's writers, something struck me: of the 63 contenders (chosen by the writers from what we have reviewed in our November 2004 thru October 2005 issues), the majority were manufactured outside the USA.
Hello,I was searching on the net and this posting came up. I need information about the KLH 9 power supply or drawings of the same. As my power supply on one isn't working and wonder if it could be a cap or something? Before I melt the wax I would like some kind of schematic. Our there caps in the wax? Both panels work great! Can anyone help?
