I have a relatively small system which consists of receiver,DVD,CD,equalizer, turntable and VCR player mostly Denon components. Anyway I'm in need of some interconnect audio cables, good quality and "INEXPENSIVE" I don't need a set of $100.00 per set. I want nice custom made lengths NOT 1 meter which is all I see. Why on earth would I need something to connect that's 12" away and have 3' of cable hanging out the back of my little setup. I don't need spaghetti hanging down to the floor which I already have with the cheap cables that came with some of my components.
Hi
I just changed my speakers from Thiel cs 2.3 to AP Avanti, but i miss the thiels resolution.
The avanti has god resolution but absolutly not enough.
I love it when you here just about all there is to here, every little sound gives you information about how deep, tall the room is. It givs you a deeper sence of transportation to the event.
I guess i am an analytical kind of guy, but not so that i gets bright and unpleasent.
So now im serching for speakers with high resolution, any ideas?
No electrostatic speakers.
I've never used anything but stock power cords. I'm intrigued by the Shunyata Venom $99 cord that is supposedly a low-price introduction to the difference a quality cord can make. With this price and a money-back guarantee I'm going to try it out. My question is where in the system would the cord be expected to make the most improvement: DAC? Transport? Pre-Amp? Phono stage? Or am I falling victim to the hype?
Thanks.
