I wanted to put this question to anyone. Currently I am listening to music using an HP laptop with headphones. I'm using the Itunes interface, but using Foobar 2000 as the music player instead of Quicktime. I'm using some of the DSP compnents contained in Foobar and one thing I am wondering is if I send the audio to my Yamaha receiver then would it make any difference whether or not I use the receiver's DSP functions, such as jazz club? So, should I use one or the other, both, or does in matter at all? Thanks for in advance for any input.
It's not unusual for an artist to have a single great album, nor is it rare for someone to have several strong releases over a career. But what are the three greatest consecutive releases by a single group or artist?
I have just purchased a set of Bel Canto eVo2 amps to use as mono-blocks, and an eVo4 for my rear speakers. I have had no end of problems with these amps. Has anyone else had any problems with eVo amps? Have you overcome the problems?
The amps are noisier than I expected, there is a soft buzz or hum coming from each speaker when they are turned on. Given their reputation and technology I was expecting close to silence. They are noisier than my previous Rotel amps that are a fraction of the eVo's price.
Hey -
i'm very novice when it comes to record players, but my boyfriend loves music and has a great system in place, but his record player is almost unusable.
Current record player makes a loud hum whenever it is playing. we know it's not the mixer or speakers becuase it doesn't hum with other audio. he is pretty savvy, so i have to think he's checked the connections and cables. he seems to think it's the player.
do you recommend krell 400xi for driving dynaudio audience 82 in massive double bass lines?
