I have an older (1990)'s Sony Receiver. Model STR-DE305 It works fine. I have incorporated it into my home system which includes TV, DVD, PC, & an ipod. I would like to change the label on the buttons by placing a sticker with the correct device ( PC / Ipod / DVD). I'm wondering if current receivers are sold with labels to adjust for various setups. Is it possible to change the display on the receiver that displays the selected function. I would also like to change that so it displays the correct device. Thank you
Could someone help me with an advice or opinion in, I hope, a simple question concerning an upgrade of listening experience and pleasure: am I going to improve the sound of my system by adding the North Star 192 DAC. The system is: CDP Musical Fidelity A 3.2., int. amp. too MF A 3.2, ldspkrs DALI Helicon 400, cables Van den Hull all. I suppose I can get the new North Star bellow 1.000 Euro. Thanks.
In the past few days on these forums several members have begun to bring double blinded testing and other techniques for attempting unbiased assessment of audio into the discussion of non-DBT threads.
I have a bone to pick with the general DBT pack (there are exceptions), and its a relatively big one I believe. However, before I go passing judgment, i would like to hear any of you out, as well as help provide some reinforcement to S-philes keep DBT to the DBT forum policy.
Thus I would ask of anyone the following very loaded and very unexhaustive set of questions.
