Opinions on the return of the Klipsch Cornwall loudspeaker?

http://www.klipsch.com/products/details/cornwall-iii.aspx

Personally, I never heard of it. I was just browsing to see what was the current equivalent of the discontinued Klipsch Heresy II. BTW, that would be the Klipsch Heresy III.

Any opinions on that one as well?

Crad-Based Technology

Crad-Based Technology

When I was younger, I wanted to grow up to become a Major League baseball player. Baseball runs in my family. My grandfather played in the sugarcane fields, my father played in the street, my uncles played Little League. Each generation, it seemed, got better and closer. I had one uncle who made it all the way to a Major League farm club before injuring his knee.

"audiophile" multidisc changer?

Most CD players these days aimed at the "audiophile" market are all single disc players. Can anyone recommend a good higher end multidisc player? I'm thinking I'd like a 5 CD carousel, but am open to other excellent sounding configurations. Currently, I'm planning on using a NAD C372 integrated for power and Mission 775 floorstanders for a simple system in my living room.

Shakti Stabilizer "no longer recommended"

I just procured one of these objects for the first time, having been aware of their existence for many years(~10?). I recall that it spent many of those years on the Recommend Components list, even earning the "star" (longevity) designation. Now in the Oct 2006 issue it has made it to the Deletions section as "no longer recommended". Usually I see a product as "not tried in a while" or such but "no longer recommended" intrigues me. Does anyone know what gives here?

CARY AUDIO CD/SACD PLAYER CD 306

A recent article by Robert Harley in TAS says good things about the new Cary unit.

I am currently using a Sony SCD-777ES for SACD and for regular CD I use it as a transport and a THETA Pro Basic 3 with balanced out is the D/A converter.

The sound is excellent for regular CD, but the sound on SACD, while good, simply does not impress me that much; I suspect there is more there than I am getting from the Sony.

Has anyone out there had a chance to audition the new CARY?

Reference Headphones and Portable CD player

I'm wondering what the experts would recommend as far as a reference set of head phones and a portable CD player?

I am very interested in learning to tune my vehicle and as such, have learned that many of the experts recommend the Grado SR65 headphones and the HeadRoom AirHead preamp.

I'm seeing that it appears that the SR65 head phones are no longer available, but that the SR125s seem to be a great product. Is this the case?

I'm reading over on the HeadRoom web site currently. However, I felt that this page would give me a less biased opinion.
