Hi there,
After reading JA's recent review of the Sonos music systems, it occurred to me that you may want to look at the Roku SoundBridge as well. It has quite an audiophile following - and sounds great when coupled with an outboard DAC and lossless audio files. Looks great regardless. I have found it, in some ways, to be more flexible than the Sonos.
!!!Please, no "snake-oil" debates. They aren't helpful!!!
I have a pretty decent upper-end stereo and multi-channel setup used for both music and home theater.
I'm looking at downsizing my audio cable investment, and am interested in inputs from people having taken the time to perform listening comparisons between BJC (Blue Jeans Cable) and other more pricy brands (Transparent, Kubala, etc). I'm NOT interested in inputs from people who have NOT actually compared -- and please, no soapboxes!
Cable Gurus help? I'm on my third PC upgrade audition and noticed none of these aftermarket power cords offers the "grip of death" one would expect at the IEC connection. One would think good stable contact would be the first order of business. One manufacturer even suggests this connection be checked periodically. I guess so, considering the weight of the cord seems to want to dislodge the connection.
Perhaps I just have POS male IEC's on my equipment?
Perhaps I just have not stumbled upon the correct power cord?
