It seems like all forums anywhere always jump to the heady questions for the intellects. Here is one for the novice boobs like me. Which produces better sound wall mount brackets or floor stands? Can you use one of each? Is there a good "getting started" reference site for "stereo" and/or "home theatre"?

Has anyone had any experience using the Audio Outlaw RR 2150 receiver with Paridigm Reference Studio 40, Monitor Silver RS6, or Boston Acoustic V3.
I'm really interested in the Paridigm and the Monitor RS6 but a dealer is teasing me with a good price on the Bostons. Is the Boston worth any consideration for 2 channel music?

Some examination of the reknowned Strads indicates they were likely chemically treated in contrast to other violins made at the time or for that matter now. The treatment though is postulated to have been done for insect and fungus control.
