Speaking of Los Lobos...

Hola,

I think the greatest travesty in the history of the so called "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" is the exclusion of Los Lobos.

It will not be a true Hall of Fame until Los Lobos takes the stage to jam with Keith and Mick.

Their newest release, "The Town and the City" is another five star Los Lobos disc.

Someone somewhere mentioned the joy of growing into a song or disc (going from neutral to love over time) as a greater experience than hitting it off with a song/disc right from the start, and this disc will do that for you, I promise.

in this episode: a DUP domination or Thanksgiving to ALL

dup, online you define the crux of an old saying

better to keep ones mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open it and remove the trout.

kidding aside, cheers dup!

1976?

1976?

Over at Locust St., the blog has been featuring an ongoing series called "100 Years (in Ten Jumps)." It's good stuff, but I'm particularly in awe of the entry "1976," which links such disparate artists as Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band, Anthony Braxton, The Wild Tchoupitoulas, and The Ramones.

I got sent this link in a newsletter:

OK, here's a tweak for ya...I got this in my PS Audio Newsletter.

From the website:

The transparent glass CD in its special case. A Japanese recording engineer has developed the world's first glass CD guaranteed not to warp, distort and of a beautiful design, according to its maker.

Music critics who have tried out the CD said that it's outstanding and virtually like listening to a live performance.
