I was disappointed to see no show report on the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in the December issue. Was it too late for the publication deadline, or did Stereophile just decide to do away with the hard copy publication of it in light of the success of the live blog?

I am thinking very hard about buyng the AYRE C-5xe and would like any owner or anyone who has experience with it to PLEASE give me their impressions of its tracking ability, reliability, sound, manufacturer support, or anything else that could affect my decision to buy. Has anyone had to send one in for repair, and what was that for and what was the service experience like?

This is a fairly major financial outlay for me, and I want to make sure I am not going to be sorry about it in a year or two (or sooner...).

i'm a bit of a newb to the stereo world. i want to build a good system and am leaning towards a NAD recvr. i already have a couple of PSB loud speakers but really don't know where to go from here. do i need an amp? pre-amp? or both?
where can i go to learn more?
