Forced to tour without his legendary Southside Jukes largish band, Johnny and guitarist Bobby Bandiera have stripped down his R&B sound to its blues skeleton, Messick says.
One of the local radio stations plays Musical Star Streams on Sunday nights. It's a very funky, electronic, eclectic mix of music from all over the world and mostly just weird. However, it is a blast to listen to. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that it is widely available either streamed or as a set program.
I was just curious if any of you guys ever listen to Musical Star Streams? If not, give it a try. It will most certainly play with your system and stretch it out to its limits...though it's totally electronic.
