Can anyone tell me explicitly how to test a speaker cabinet using an accelerometer. I want to test a few speaker cabinets that I am making. For output I want to be able to come up with the cumulative spectral-decay plot as shown in each issue of Stereophile so that I can compare my work to that which I see published. I've never done this before, and I want to start with this measurement.

I need to know what the exact names of the components are that you use to do this work.

Please,correct if i am wrong.If i setup my denon av amp with Audyssey room correction,it will only be in effect in the digital domain.In a few words,if i want to connect a turntable and run it in analoque (ie no adc/dac) the Adyssey
room correction won't be working,right?

It mentioned mostly car and motorcycle ones, but every hobby has it's own publication. TAS/StereoPhile merger? Maybe going into the Sound and Vision company? I miss AUDIO magazine, it was very good. Much less hyperbole, and words of audiophile distinction. More kinda leaning to the technical side of the products. Sound & Vision is too slick and vauge.
