Hello All, I was wondering if anyone has had the chance to hear any of the new Athena LS line of speakers? They appear to use the same drivers that their sister company, Energy, is using in their C series. I've always been impressed with almost all of Athena's products, and wonder how this new line stacks up. In my small room (9x12)I was thinking of trying the LS300. It's a floorstander with a 6.5" fiberglass woofer and a 1" aluminum tweeter. I think the LS500 with twin woofers would be too much for my room. So let me know if you heard any of these. Thanks
If, when listening to the music of John Coltrane, you've been asking yourself what am I missing?, Traneumentary will give you answers. It's a podcast series that interleaves commentary and Coltrane's music with interviews with collaborators like McCoy Tyner and Jimmy Cobb, contemporary musicians like Terence Blanchard and Jason Moran, and legendary producers Michael Cuscuna and Joel Dorn—not to mention the great man himself.
Just curious. I usually receive my issue before I start seeing it at newsstands but not this month. I've seen it for WEEKS now and the response I got from Sterophile is that I should have it by April 3! Anyone else?
