I am new to this forum, and I have a question for you experts. I have an old Bell & Howell speaker that goes with a small tube amplifier. The speaker outs are something I have never seen before. They are half inch round plugs with two holes. Both ends of the cable would need to be male ends. The person I bought this from is a stereophile, and he had never seen anything like it. His temporary solution was to rig the cable with two bent over nails. This isn't exactly ideal for sound quality or safety. Any help on these connectors or an original cable would be great.

I have an old Bell & Howell amplifier that I am trying to rebuild. It is a 15 watt filmosond amplifier, and I would love to clean it up, but I can't find any information about it. I would love some schematics, or a copy of the owners manual. Any help would be great. I would love to save this little piece of equipment.
Specs-
Part# 05973
117 volts
25-60 cycles
0.9 amps

Hello!
I've been reading stereophile for a while and beeing an audio student I specially enjoy the serious measurements in the magazine versus the subjective perpection.
I wonder, however, if it wouldn't be interesting instead of only showing the spectra of a 1kHz sinewave, to also show the spectra of a 1kHz squarewave. I think that the even harmonics that would eventually show up also indicate a level of a non-linearity that isn't displayed elsewhere. What do you think about it!?
Regards,
L.
