I found this CD on Amazon.com through a third party seller called Newbury Comics for $5.98 and what a find. The group, Curis Counce-bass, Jackie Sheldon-trumpet, Harold Land-Sax, carl Perkins-piano, Frank Butler-drums comes to swing and is very tight. Stereo seperation is excellent with drums, piano and horns often going from left to right speaker.

costs how much. The wiring inside point-point stuff looks like he took a Dyna St-70 Or PAS-3 pre amp and reboxed it. How is using old obsolete parts worthy of such a price? He has 15W amplifiers for almost $3900? Come on 15W? The BLSOE units have more than that, of course this is $3900 15 W, not $300 watts, still worthless ain't it? Tube rectifers in the power supply...you gots to be kidding. Stereophile keeps mentioning how limited space is, why do they waste space on this usless, copy of a Dyna PAS3 it looks like unit, who decided on this price?
Hello everyone:
I am hoping that I can get some input into a few questions that I have. My father has two reel/reel decks: One is a Concord 444 recorder/player; which works well. He also has a TEAC auto reverse deck which has been out of commission for awhile. I told him that I would transfer some his old reel/reel tape to CD (I have a Mackie 12 Channel board) and a background in A/V, Audio/Video production...so I have a pretty good idea of what I am doing; but wanted to get some input from this board.
