Who Says Jazz Isn't Commercial?

The ad team at Dolce & Gabbana seems to think it can be. Would Charles Mingus’ “Moanin’” become a best-seller if more people knew it sounded so cool—or if the millions who watched this TV commercial knew that’s what they were hearing? Could it be that jazz just needs shrewder marketing? (The whole song can be heard on Mingus’ great 1959 album, Blues & Roots.)

Alexis Petridis reviews Paris Hilton's debut record. "She sings like a woman who has heard of something called singing, can't be sure of exactly what it might entail, but is fairly certain you do something a bit like this."

New system advice sought using Sonus Faber Concertinp's as base

I loved the sound of the Sonus Faber Concertino's Domus and am looking to build a system around them (I have no components right now).

I'm not sure about the number of channels I want and am having a bit of a dilemma deciding between two concertino domus's and either two concerto home or two wall domus (saw both of these on auction) to go with the concertino's. Though, if I loose the bids I don't think I'll buy more than two speakers.

First you said you didn't have Klipsch, then it was Harberts, then some Himatomo something or other, I have no idea what you are talking about, then you had 6W that is all you need, then a McIntosh from teh 60's that of course is better than anything in this century....Now scotch tape over insuffiencet sized wires are the thing. Are you sure you ain't really got a BLOSE? Now you have 6 foot speakers...If you would learn to communicate, I'd know what you are talking about.....If you don't know what SLAM and IMPACT is, live music ain't your reference is it?
