Has anyone compared the top end CD/SACD/DVD-A playback of these devices carefully?
What do people consider the sound quality differences between these different components?
Has anyone compared the Meridian 861 DAC sound quality with the Meridian 808i? Are they equivalent?
I know some devices don't have SACD playback and others do, but don't have DVD-A playback, but how do they compare in areas where they do play back the same formats, especially CD playback?
Thanks,
Jeff
Does anyone know where I could find a Schematic for a Insignia HC040917. I have looked all over the internet and when I contacted Insignia they seemed to have no interest in helping me (why wasn't I suprised?) I have an intermittent problem that is next to impossible to repair without a schematic. Please help, this is my last resort.
Anyone have any opinions of this product? http://www.psaudio.com/products/gcc_control_amplifiers.asp
I'm looking for an integrated amp to start a system and was about to buy a NAD M3 until I stumbled upon this.
Sometimes, we don't listen to music for days at a time, just so it sounds fresh again when we finally do. And sometimes we just yearn for something better and are willing to hit pause until we discover it. Are there times when you just don't want to listen to music? Why not?
i try to buy american and english but i have 2 chinese pieces that i am very happy with. a cayin integrated with an ipod (lossless)driving a pair of quad bookshelves in my business office. i get comments on it at least 2-3 times a week especially from non audiophiles for its style and sound quality. alot of people are amazed that they still make tube equipment. the black piano grade finish amazes everyone. telling people that it is made in china opens their eyes. i explain that like everything else in life there is good and bad in every industry from every country.
An article in the NY Times today about Prince thought it would be a nice addition to the debate..
