Check out these awesome videos of people using tesla coils to make music. Please, if anyone knows how this actually works, EXPLAIN.
Keyboard + Tesla Coil? Fascinating
Enjoy
Hi,
I'm looking for recs on a pair of front speakers for $1,000 or less.
I bought a Denon PMA-520 integrated amp and a pair of Boston Acoustics A70 bookshelf speakers in 1987, when I was 16 years old. After 20 years, they are finally giving out.
I loved my old system, and since nothing I've ever bought has lasted for 20 years, I bought the best Denon receiver I could afford on my small budget: the AVR-887 receiver.
I am new to these forums, but from what I've seen so far the community seems very supportive to newbies posting in this section. Here is a question for you guys... I am currently running a home theatre set up with an old Yamaha HTR 5560 (60W per ch.) driving all my speakers. This is fine for the center and surrounds but my mains are a pair of JBL ND-310II, with 10" woofers rated for 250w. Along with my subwoofer I'm fine and dandy for watching movies. When I switch over to stereo mode on the receiver to listen to music however, the system is lacking to say the least.
