I looked through the four pages of CD Player reviews here and only recognized one name: Radio Shack. An interesting review for an Optimus CD-3400 cd player. I was just wondering if there's a modern equivalent to this cheap, but great sounding player??? I want something to hook up my Grado SR-60's to and chill. The idea of dropping 20k on a CD player makes me laugh. The idea of dropping 2k on a CD player makes me laugh. The idea of dropping a couple hundred ($200-$400) is something I could live with.
Blackie now has listened to my monoblocks and has a plan of attack. I need better caps and rectifiers. Amen to that! And my tubes are running too hot, which means there is a mismatch.
I was relieved to hear that I do not need a new rectum. However, if you all ever get to be my age, you might consider it...
Rectified? Me? O, that it were possible...
Blackie says resistors and electrolytics may need some rehab.
Kind of a noob here, but
I need to go from a computer (stereo 1/8th) to Amplifier (RCA) aproximatly 20ft away from eachother. My stereo amp is kept at the front of the room, and computer at the back.
Question is this;
Is there a better way of getting the signal to my amp than running all that cable(30ft of cable vs Audio Transmitter)? Would either/or sacrafice sound quality when compared to the other? I will primarily be using this method for Home Theate and Audio Files.
Review Martin Logan Vantage or Summit loudspeaker?
Will you?
