Embarassingly, I cannot find the URL of the article that explains how to interprit the measurements that JA makes of amps, preamps, cd players, etc. I have found the understanding speaker measurements pages, but not for amps.

I'm looking for excellent sound recordings that will play on a standard CD player, or, do I have to move up to a SACD, or something similiar, to get excellent sound recording?

I've googled a lot and haven't come up with the correct combination of words, yet.

Mobile Sound doesn't have a large in-stock catalog.

As a newbie, I am somewhat confused by various audio terms commonly used to describe musical reproduction (e.g. soundstage, musicality, liquid, etc.). Also, I am not certain that everyone attaches the same connotation to these terms. Is there a somewhat definitive source explaining this terminology? Thank you.
